Rescue excavations at some rammadiyet sites at Majoura and Wadi Nadhour
From 14th to 28th of December 2023, prehistoric section at National Institute of Heritage carried out rescue excavations at some rammadiyet sites at Majoura and Wadi Nadhour (Snad-Gafsa). The fieldwork yielded new insights about Capsian and Neolithic cultures in the South of Tunisia. Furthermore, these activities enhance the local population to care about the rammadiyet as a very interesting national heritage.
