The discovery of an oil press dating from the late Roman period – Chenini archaeological site

A team of researchers and heritage curators from the National Heritage Institute (INP) is continuing the second part of the rescue excavation of the Chenini archaeological site in El Fouar, Kébli, which began on 7 May 2025 and will continue until 21 May 2025. The excavation revealed the presence of an oil press dating from the late Roman period, according to the ceramic objects found.
