The Salambo exhibition was inaugurated on September 23, 2024 at the National Museum of Bardo under the title “Salambo, de Flaubert à Carthage”, in the presence of archaeologists, cultural and scientific figures and a group of representatives from the diplomatic corps accredited to Tunisia. The exhibition will run until January 12, 2025. It comprises 50 works combining Tunisian objects and French collections, mixing literature, painting, sculpture, photography and archaeology.
The exhibition has been organized by the National Heritage Institute in partnership with the Agency for the development heritage and cultural promotion, the French Institute of Tunis, the Rouen-Normandie group and the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilization.
